Weigh Me Wednesday


I am so behind the ball today...sorry. Today's weigh in was no where near where I'd hoped. :( It's all mental right now I can guarantee it. But if I've learned anything from Alison, it is that I just have to keep my head up, stick to the game plan and watch it pay off in the near future.

6/15/11: 252.0
Total Loss : +1.0 pounds

So, I know it's only a pound, but seriously I'm tired of this stinking yo-yo-plateau. Is it a result of my hard working walks? Is it because of the breastfeeding? I'm still drinking a lot of water and well, peeing a lot. So I dunno??? Help! Tell me what to do beside keep chugging. Very.frustrated.

I know how frustrating it can be, but YES! KEEP PUSHING! It WILL come off! You are doing a fabulous job and you are walking/exercising your butt off (literally ;))! So keep going Mama! HUGS!

Like Alison said, just keep up the hard work. Your body is used to weighing a higher weight, so it may just be some time to adjust to dropping weight and getting smaller. Look over everything you doing to get healthier with a critical eye. Are you starting to let some things slide? A back-to-basics approach can be very helpful. You can bust this, mama!

One thing I do when I am stuck is try to vary my eating (calories) over time. I learned this years ago when I did Weight Watchers. I might eat less than usual one day then more than usual another. All healthy, of course:) The theory is that our bodies adapt to what we routinely eat and lower the metabolism if we eat less over time.

I feel your pain!! Every time I hit 169 I start gaining again. It's been a little over 2 weeks and today I finally saw the scale start going down again. Just keep trying, and I agree with Karen.
