Once again I find myself MIA from blogland. But I'm back with a couple of updates.
1) The last couple of weeks have basically gotten me nowhere in weight loss. I'm managing to maintain where I'm at, so I suppose that's a plus? I know why and I know how to fix it, it's just a matter of doing it. :/
2) I finished my fastest 5k last Saturday!!!!
My official chip time was 36:35!!!! My first mile = 10:55. What??? I have to thank Marisa for pushing me. She runs my pace so we stuck together for the most part. I was on her tail until the last mile and then she ran ahead, but I was less than two minutes behind her. :) I love having a "racing buddy." Also, 34* is fuh-reezing for a 3 mile run, just sayin'.
For the Nature's Pantry Spring Into Fitness 5k, three of us from the Lean Ladies group met up in addition to Krissi's aunt joining us. It was a great time and I loved every minute of it.
Speaking of loving it... I have a 5k (or 10k) scheduled for every month for the rest of the year. Yep... I'm crazy. LOL. Next race is Mother's Day! Me & Baby girl are signed up. I'm not sure if I'm going to attempt to push her in a stroller, or let her try to run with me or walk it, but I do plan to do it with her.
