Total Loss to Date: 20.2 pounds

I'm going on the record for how much I despise weighing fully clothed at the location when I know my nekid weight is so much better. Just saying. ;)

I broke the 20lb loss mark! And my nekid weight is 238.4 for the record, which puts me at 21.6lb down. That get's me even closer to the 25 pound milestone and my first award. Well, possibly second award if I don't reach that milestone before the 16 week acknowledgement.

I meant to check in yesterday, but I HAD to finish this large order of bows... by large I mean I've spent 6 days straight finishing 125 cheer bows and I've only exercised once. I've been jonesin' to get out and hit the pavement. So now that I have the bows I can get back on track.

So how did I manage to drop weight while only getting one work out in? Proper nutrition and making sure I drink plenty of water. I have no other explanation for it. Also, this morning, wouldn't you know it... I stepped on the scale and I'm down to 239.9. That's 20.1 pounds down since March 27th! I am tickled. I'm also going to go get my tattoo now!

I've had a rough week. I've really fought myself and only have myself to blame. We had a family reunion this weekend and it's very evident that I still cannot be trusted around cookies & cupcakes. Especially miniature cupcake cones. :(

On a positive note, I wore a shirt today that I haven't been able to squeeze into for three years now. It felt great. So when I got home, rather than being discouraged, I broke out the tape measure. Sure enough, I might not have dropped weight this week, but I'm losing inches! 5 inches total in the past 4 weeks. That's something to be proud of. :)

Much better than I thought it'd be. I've had a ho-hum feeling about my food lately but now that I've recognized it I can correct the situation and move forward. I'm slowly inching my way to my next goal. I also *plan* on updating my measurements in the morning, so we'll see if those were changing while my weight wasn't. Happy Tuesday!

Catching Up...Again

Where to start? Guess I'll start with today... I ran in 91 degree heat!!!! Not only did I run in 91 degree heat but I ran for half mile straight at my longest without a break. That's HUGE for me. AND...oh yes there's another and, I beat my best pace. 15:40. I'm kickin' booty and takin' names!
