Rough 24 Hours

Things have been sad for me since yesterday. My beloved camera up and broke itself. It seriously feeling like losing a loved one. I have to send her in for repair and may not see her for upwards of two months. I'm devastated. But I truck on and I'll make due with the iPhone & point n shoot. :(

The past few days I've made a special point to ensure I'm drinking enough water. I can refill my glass, but I lose track too easily with all that I have going on. Not to mention I'm much more a visual person, so I took a que from Pinterest and purchase some water bottles. I was aiming for 32 ounce bottles but had no luck for the right price. So I opted for two 4 packs of these awesome Rubbermaid 20 ounce bottles. Perfect! And, I have back ups when needed.

Can you believe I "need" 100 ounces of water a day? I understand that some of the "water" comes from the foods I eat, but I suppose I'm a bit of an overachiever. So 5 bottles of water a day? Yup, that's what I've been doing. Obviously when working out & sweating I require more than that. Needless to say I've been running to the bathroom like a pregnant lady with a kid on her bladder. I truly love this method though, I can actually see that I'm getting my water in as long as those bottles are empty at the end of the day.

In other news I've tried a couple of new breakfast combos. I've really been working on adding new recipes to my diet to keep things interesting. And lately I haven't had a stinker. My favorite sites right now are skinnytaste.com and danicasdaily.com. Both sites have fabulous recipes and a ton of them are so easy, why wouldn't you give them a try?
